Our work is primarily based in Mansfield (Notts) but we do work on projects across the UK. Would you be prepared to travel?

You’ve just been given your first task on a project with us. What’s your next move?

I’d make sure I understand what’s needed, get prepped, and deliver the task on time. I’d review any notes provided, reach out to the client if needed, and stay in touch with Electric Bear to clarify anything unclear. I’d create a custom timeline to help plan the task, bring in the right people when needed, complete the work, and check in with the client to make sure they’re happy with the outcome.

You've just been informed by the client that something has gone wrong, resulting in the task you've been assigned with to change.
The client asks your opinion on what to do next. what do you do?

I’d tell the client I’ll need to check with a manager before making any decisions. Once I’ve got a clear answer, I’d let the client know the next steps and carry them out. I’d clarify that my role is focused on the assigned task, but I can check with my manager to see what options Electric Bear might have to resolve the issue. If the problem can be sorted there and then with minimal effort, I’d handle it straight away. After that, I’d let the Electric Bear team know what the issue was and how I dealt with it.

What's your past experience working in the creative industries, such as design work, content creation, visual or audio production, maybe strategy?
How would you ensure our quality of work is upheld?

I’ve delivered paid work for clients in the past, handling everything from the initial idea and concept through to creating the final deliverables and handing them over. I’ve been part of a creative team delivering work for clients, contributing my skills to specific tasks within larger projects that were presented to the client. I haven’t worked directly with clients in the creative industries yet, but it’s something I’ve pursued as a hobby and I’m now keen to take it further.

Tell us about a time where you carried out a creative task for a client.
How did you create something special?

I created a unique piece of work for my client. This consisted of taking their vision, applying my expertise and delivering the final product. I listened to my clients needs and designed something that resonated with their end goal. I also created several alternatives for my client to decide which option is best. I turned my clients idea into reality by providing a tailored solution. I used my expertise in the field to design and create the final result. I also tried to include new technologies and creative workflows to improve the final result.

You've been asked to create pieces of work that Electric Bear can use within 7 days. How do you handle this whilst working around your current job or work commitments?

I try my best to deliver what is being asked of me, even if it means working around my current commitments to get the job done and delivering the pieces of work, no matter what. I weigh up whether I can deliver what is being asked of me and let Electric Bear know if this is possible to complete within the timeframe. I am prepared to work around my current commitments to deliver the pieces of work on-time but balance quality over quantity. I accept the requirements and try my best to complete what has been asked in a timely manner. If I'm struggling to get the task completed, I let Electric Bear know towards the end of the 7 day period and ask whether there is more time to complete the task.

How would you describe Electric Bear whilst you are working with a client or if someone generally asks you about us?

I love what Electric Bear is about and will happily promote the work I'm completing when people ask me what I do or if I've been involved in any new projects. I proudly promote what I do with Electric Bear to others and when I can, actively share social media posts to my networks - helping spread the word. I'm passionate about the work I produce for Electric Bear and look forward to seeing the final results, once the team has delivered.
